About P.A.P.A.S.

Parents Advocating for the Performing Arts in our Schools (P.A.P.A.S., Inc.) was founded in 2005, Incorporated in 2006, and has acquired 501(c)3 status. We’ve accomplished a great deal since we began.

Accomplishments

• Replaced the condemned Fly System in the auditorium.
• Funded a new program, BMHS Alumni Co-op Theatre.
• Hosted an evening of music in a clean, safe environment: Rock the Stage, 2006
• Replaced the obsolete VHF backstage wireless system with a newUHF Telex Radiocom System
• Replaced the make-up mirrors in the “green room” used by our students and rental groups such as the Miss Beloit Pageant and Marx Dance Academy.
• A $750,000 donation has enabled us to complete MAJOR upgrades in the theatre. Check the "RECENT NEWS" page for the details, as well as the "COMPLETED PROJECTS" page.

 

Our Theatre students will be performing in August 2010 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Your donations will be gratefully accepted to help them make their goal!
